Spiritual – The Third Category of Success

January 12th, 2010

The Third Category of Success - SpiritualSo we’ve covered success categories Self and Family,  I hope you are able to see how each one builds upon the other. Success is all about the whole package. It’s a series of smaller events gone right spread throughout all main categories of life. To achieve extreme success in business yet fail in your family is merely partial success. Given that no single person on this planet is absolutely perfect in every category, the ones I consider truly successful are the ones that have experienced and continue to work on each of the 5 Categories of Success.

The Third Category of Success – Spiritual

The next category on the triangle of success is the Spiritual category. Most people are religious and believe in a higher being or higher power. That higher power is this being who we call God, our Heavenly Father, the Universe, Allah and so forth and is the origin of our creation. We are literal offspring of this all-powerful being, and just like any child who is born into this world inherits traits and abilities from You'll See It When You Believe Ithis or her parents, in addition, we also inherit traits and abilities from our Heavenly Father. With that in mind, we must understand that we are spiritual, heavenly beings having a physical, earthly experience. Not the other way around and for a great reference and in depth discussion on this topic, read “You’ll see it when you believe it” by author Dr. Wayne Dyer. Great book!

Now, how do we know, for ourselves, that we are a heavenly beings having an earthly experience? I think you all know the answer to that question. We certainly can’t prove it. Scientists sure try to discredit it. It’s through faith. Faith is our own personal evidence of something we believe in which cannot be seen. Faith is our connection to our Heavenly selves.

Now, let’s look a little deeper into the word faith. Faith is evidence of things we cannot touch, see or smell, at least not with our physical traits. If you have faith, you are a natural optimist. Faith is used for things which are to come, not things which already are. A good example to illustrate this is past versus future. A faithful person is always focused on the future, the things he has not yet been able to touch, see and smell physically. An unfaithful person may dwell in the past because that is real to him. He has been able to touch, see and smell it. He doesn’t need to have faith because he has a perfect knowledge of all his experiences. Faith is knowing just enough of where we come from in order to see where we are going.

My point is….if our faith is sufficient, we will truly understand who we are and where we come from. And in understanding that, and truly believing we are heavenly beings having an earthly experience, we also will understand our potential. Our Heavenly Father isn’t a being of suppression or pride. He wants us to fulfill the the true measure of our creation. In English, He wants us to be successful by achieving our full potential here on earth…..a potential, by the way, that is partially limited by our physical existence. Imagine all that we will be able to achieve after this earthly experience, when we no longer have that physical limitation!

Now don’t get any crazy ideas of trying to reach the afterlife quicker! Just know who you are and where you come from. Have a desire to know why you are here, where you come from and what that means for you in this life. We’ve all seen the movies where the main character gets amnesia and can’t remember who he is. “Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum” is a series of movies that explains this perfectly. Jason Bourne uses all of his energy, knowledge and abilities to discover who he truly is, and until he finds out, he can’t rest. We all come into this world with heavenly amnesia, forgetting who we truly are. Just as Jason Bourne would not rest until he discovered his true identity, I encourage all of you to do the same. If you don’t already know, discover who you truly are. You are a powerful, Heavenly being simply having an earthly experience.

How might that change your way of thinking today and how will that change in thought, effect your actions? Suddenly all the the smaller, physical problems won’t have as much of an effect on you. If you truly understand who you are, the effect is tremendous!

Goodbye 2009 – Welcome 2010!

January 1st, 2010

I’d like to take time tonight, actually it’s 1:05 am here in beautiful Payson Arizona, to wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. I assume you all are as excited as I am for all the success and prosperity coming your way this year and have already set a plan of action in place to make it happen!

Tonight couldn’t have been better. Knowing that a good portion of the world was out at a party or event, Amy and I spent the evening with those we care for most….our family. We invited Amy’s parents over for games and fun. Our three girls actually managed to stay awake through midnight…..and I’m thinking it might have been all the sugar we allowed them to scarf down all evening! Either that or the opportunity to blow a New Years horn at midnight….. just too much excitement for them to miss out on! Regardless, kicking off 2010 was perfect!

So what do we call it? Twenty ten or two thousand and ten. I’m definitely torn, but whatever it is, I am gearing up for one of the best years ever!

Life is truly good my friends. We are all very blessed….and I look forward to assisting you all as much as I possibly can in reaching your goals of success this year!

Happy New Year from David and Amy Allred at CreateFinancialWealth.com!

New Year Internet Business Boom!

December 30th, 2009

Gear up, get ready, do whatever it is you are going to do. If you plan on starting an internet business, home based business or expand your internet presence for your current business, now is the time to take action.

As the holidays come to an end, reality starts to set in for those who had the last week or two off. They start to think of having to go back to work on Monday, and for most people, that’s not what they want to be doing. So what do they do? They start looking for something else that will create a change in lifestyle. Something that will create a little more freedom with their schedule. And you know, most people know there are opportunities in existence that would allow them to work less and make more, yet, they have no idea where to find them or lack the courage to get started. For some, it’s like trying to find a grain of sand in a box of Malt-O-Meal or Cream of Wheat. But even though they have no idea what they are looking for, they will be looking.

Seriously, if you think about it, what time of year do people receive the most desire to change? It’s the beginning of the New Year, and if you’re anything like me, I start to reflect a bit on the past year. In doing so, I find stuff I don’t really like about it, so I set goals to change it. One of the most sought after changes is MONEY CHANGES. People want to make more money, ALWAYS. Money means comfort, lifestyle, family time, freedom, stuff, toys and so on.

I can tell you, being a home business entrepreneur has some amazing perks at the beginning of the year. The other day I had a conversation with someone I know who works for GoDaddy. They mentioned that GoDaddy hasn’t experienced a dip in business AT ALL. They are flourishing! Why?

It because people are looking for other ways to generate extra income, internet based. There is a rush coming. I can promise you that. Find yourself an opportunity that suits you and take advantage of those who will be searching you out. Now is the time to take advantage of the New Years internet business boom. Don’t wait. Get started!

CreateFinancialWealth.com in 2009

December 29th, 2009

It’s amazing to me how fast time can fly by. At times I feel like the short fat kid at field day! Which, I was never that kid and I apologize ahead of time if you were! It’s been a great year for CreateFinancialWealth.com and I am excited to see what 2010 brings. I know for sure, it will bring more traffic, more people looking to start a home business or work from home, more personal development seekers and more revenue. I plan to add a few new features to the blog section of the site which will inspire more interaction from you, so get ready for it. And I know, you can hardly wait!

As much as I know that our past NEVER dictates our future outcome, our past does give us a mark to start from and outperform this coming year. A blog is a funny thing…..the more attention, work and value you put into it, the more traffic and revenue you generate from it. Imagine that!

So here are a few stats, in case you were curious:

  • Revenue generated through things such as Adsense, Affiliates and various methods, $49,111.94.
  • As of today, CFW’s Alexa rating is 259,350.
  • We have an average of 3,000 unique visitors per month and over 7,000 page views per month. All from Search Engine Traffic. I don’t use CPC methods for generating traffic.
  • Site Expense = $75 for hosting! How’s that for return on investment?
  • This site is hosted by none other than IPOWER.

Goals for 2010:

  • Triple my traffic
  • Triple my subscribers
  • Achieve an Alexa rating of less than 100,000
  • Create a CFW widget
  • Introduce additional Authors to the blog
  • Triple my income
  • Bring more value to you, my readers
  • Create a CFW Social Networking site

So as you can see, I have a lot planned for CreateFinancialWealth! It’s going to be a great year!! Any suggestion you have that you’d like to see right here on CFW, let me know!!

Take Some Time Off

December 28th, 2009

For the past week or so, as you all have definitely seen, I have taken time off from everything….including this blog, my marketing, making phone calls, masterminding with others in my business, and pretty much everything else. It’s really given me some time to think about where I am, by reflecting on my results thus far since becoming a home business entrepreneur and even more specifically, my results for this past year. I can tell you this much, having the time off,  has been a breath of fresh air!

At times, I think we get so caught up in doing the “thing,” the thing that produces the income, that it’s difficult to see all that is really going on. At times, taking a step back can give you a completely different perspective. You’ll be able to see things that were nearly impossible to see while engaged in the “thing.” For some, they may realize that their current profession isn’t what they really want to be doing. For others, they may get an added sense of conviction and clarity towards their chosen course. Whatever the result, taking an occasional time out can only benefit. You can become the player with the coaches perspective.

WARNING: Just a bit of a notice before you engage in your “time off” session……Expect change! You can’t take a step back for an outsiders look and not expect to change something about what you are doing. In fact, if you take that step back and don’t change something, you didn’t really take a step back. The change doesn’t have to be huge, but it should exist. Maybe a better word for it would be an “adjustment.” You can’t become a “fine tuned machine” without the “fine tuning.”

The 5 Categories of Success

December 22nd, 2009

In my eyes there are five main categories in which you can experience the greatest amount of success and in my opinion, should be the main points of focus. Being a religious person, it reminds me of a scripture, “Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy………let your soul delight in fatness.” In other words, invest your time, energy and money into something that is of worth and that brings value to your life and to the life of others. To me, true success comes from achieving things in all areas of your life. “Fatness”……meaning broad, wide, abundant, an overflow of…..not one skinny, narrow channel of success.

If you notice, the name of each category gets larger and larger. Well, it’s pure coincidence. I didn’t plan it at all….but it does carry a degree of truth with it. Each category builds off the previous one, expanding success to a much larger spectrum of “fatness.” For better illustration, take a look at this success triangle. Now going from top to bottom, it all starts with you, your “Self.” As you get further down the triangle, your success expands, or the more success you experience.

As I said in the beginning, true success is an accumulation of several smaller successes spread across many different areas of your life. Financial success without personal success (Self) or recreational success without financial success just wouldn’t seem like much of a success at all. If you’ve ever felt like you are on top of the world, at the peek of your game, that is what I am speaking of. Instead of feeling like a gnat in the middle of an Arizona monsoon, true success is a time in your life when things are rolling for you and you feel like you are at the wheel of your life. You are in control!

During the next few posts I will expand on each category and how each one plays a vital role in the building blocks of success. Stay tuned!
