When you start adding on the years, you start to realize that life is EXTREMELY short! Sometimes I don’t feel there is enough time to accomplish all that I have planned to. I think the spark to this though process of mine was a conversation I overheard. They were talking about buying a home so that they could change it however they wanted to, instead of having to tip-toe around their landlord. Yet, they’re still hesitant. 10 Things To Do Now, Not Later!
October 18th, 2011A Guide to Getting Paid What You’re Worth
September 13th, 2011We’ve all heard the common phrase, “You teach people how to treat you.” If you allow someone to treat you like a piece of trash, and you don’t correct them, then you have just given them a lesson on how you should be treated. It’s common sense really, but more than just a few won’t ever grasp that concept. Read the rest of this entry »
Home Based Business Link Exchange Directory
July 22nd, 2011We have recently added a home based business link directory to CreateFinancialWealth.com for the purpose of exchanging links with similar themed websites and blogs. Our directory exchange is completely free as long as you provide a reciprocal link back to our home page. We would prefer an “in text” link as outlined at our directory, but standalone links are fine as long as the words are linked correctly.
We also offer a premium link which is just ten dollars. With a premium link, your link is always shown at the top of the list.
For those of you who have wordpress blogs and are curious about adding a link directory to your blog, I used the plugin “WordPress Link Directory.” It’s a free plugin and can be setup very quickly. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll get back to you asap. Exchange links with us by clicking the banner below or in the sidebar. Thanks!
The Battlefield of Life – Defeat or Be Defeated
July 21st, 2011
Life is a battlefield. In it’s own right, it’s just as intense as any war waged between two armies in any location. Every aspect of it involves possible defeat or glorious victory, except in the combat of life, there are many foes…..yourself being one of the greatest. A sound mind is key.
In the midst of conflict, injuries will occur. Sometimes these injuries are self inflicted and other times they are caused by sources outside our control.
There are those who have been injured many times, who, because of their many scars, shy away from the battle. They avoid confrontation and action. They’re scared of being injured, or injured again. So instead of facing their enemy, they avoid them at all costs, even at great personal loss. They let the fear of pain and loss take over their life. Their actions become less valiant and their potential squandered. Instead of being dependable and independent, they become dependent and are in need of protection. They lose their self worth and find themselves living in the gutters and the filth of this war, feeding off the leftovers of the rest.
Singing “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” in Rome Italy!
July 11th, 2011When you work from home, sometimes you find yourself venturing into things online that are basically time fillers. You may think you’re keeping busy all day, but really, you only truly worked part of the day and messed around the rest of the time. Well, today was one of those days for me.
I was watching some of my old YouTube videos and found this one. Some times it’s hard for me to even watch myself because I’m such a dork. But to give you a background…back in high school, we had a fund raising beauty pageant. But this was a special beauty pageant. The guys were going to do this one, dressed up like girls….and I was part of it. They picked on all of us jocks! And of course, in a beauty pageant, you have to have a talent. So I partnered up with my buddy Danny Hawman and sang, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” We killed it. We didn’t win, but we rocked that auditorium!
