Our Trip to Puerto Rico!

October 20th, 2009

Last week my wife and I dropped the kids off at the parents house and took off to the tropical island of Puerto Rico! We had an absolute blast and with this being our second visit to the island, we appreciated it even that much more. The weather was perfect and the resort we stayed at was top notch. We stayed at the El Conquistador in Fajardo in the Las Casitas section of the resort. Our room was a one bedroom with a living area and kitchen. It had a patio that overlooked the ocean from up high on the tropical ocean side cliff. The view was inspiring!

Excursion LimoSo while were were there, our days looked like this:

Saturday – We arrived at the San Juan airport and were greeted by our transportation to the resort by a woman holding a sign with our name on it. We identified our luggage and didn’t have to touch it from that point on. We had a Ford Excursion limo pick us up for the hour long ride to the El Conquistador resort in Fajardo. We ate lunch on a balcony that overlooked the ocean with other self-made millionaires and multiple 6-figure earners in my business opportunity. We hung out at the pool most of that day, just soaking up the sun. That night we went kayaking through a jungle channel which contained Bio-luminescent micro plankton.(I’ll tell you more about that later! Awesome!) After kayaking we hung out in the hot tub until midnight right on our balcony.

Palamino IslandSunday – We paid a visit to Palamino Island just off the coast of the resort. There I snorkeled while Amy soaked up the sun as she normally does. Later that night we had a catered dinner in one of the top steak restaurants in the country called the Strip House which overlooked the channel and cove we kayaked to on Saturday night. This dinner was followed by a small get-together for leaders in my business called “The Repeaters party.”

Rain ForestMonday – We went hiking through the Puerto Rican Rain Forest and guess what….we got rained on! Go figure. The rain forest was amazing. Look for some video footage a little later on. Monday night we attended a welcome reception to the event we were there to attend. We ate buffet style and were entertained by music and awesome company.

Dinner in Puerto RicoTuesdayYossi Ghinsberg was our first speaker of the conference. If you have never heard Yossi speak, do it. He is amazing. Following Yossi we heard from Steve Donahue and his uncharted journey across the desert. That night was pretty eventful. We went out to eat with Tony and Jessica Rush and Roger and Suzanne Curwin. Tuesday was the 13th of October, my birthday. The day I turned 33 years old I also broke my tooth on the wrapped duck! Later that night we watched the a new documentary that is soon to be released by our company featuring Michael Jr.

Snorkeling in Puerto RicoWednesday – We heard from our final speaker, Neal Petersen, on Wednesday morning. He was great as well. More on him coming in my future posts. We spent our entire afternoon on Palamino Island once again where Danny Hawman and I snorkeled to a separate island approximately 100 yds x 50 yds in size. It was gorgeous! That night we attended a black tie gala to conclude the conference. The steak melted in your mouth..it was perfect. Amy and I spent much of the night taking pictures of ourselves making goofy faces with random cameras we found laying around. Fun stuff. We danced the night away to a band that was the best I have seen in a long time. After which we soaked it up on our balcony in the hot tub. What a great way to close out the event.

At the Pool in Puerto RicoThursday – Our car came to pick us up at 5:50 am, just when the sun was rising across the ocean. Our room faced the east so as soon as you walk out the door….there it was! Amazing! And I tell you what…the best place to ride is in the back of a nice car! Our trip to the airport was just as nice as our trip to the resort.

So that’s it. That was our experience in Puerto Rico. It was amazing, life changing and inspiring and at this very moment, I am going through some withdrawals, wanting to go back. Aside from me breaking my tooth, it was an absolutely perfect trip!

Travel, Vacations, and My Business

Hawaii Cliff JumpingLast night I took Amy out for a group date type of dinner at one of the best Italian restaurants here in town. It is just a small place here in Pinetop where the owner won’t allow cell phones, casual dress or lateness. Small price to pay for great food I guess! Somehow we all started talking above places we had been to. The conversation started when someone asked a friend of mine about a home he is building down in Mexico somewhere on the Pacific Ocean. I can’t remember the actual town. He started to tell us how much we would love it down there and I tell you what, it sounded excellent. It reminded me of all the places we have been in the last few years. We have had a blast.

RomeSince we have been involved with this Home Based Business, which has only been just under 4 years, we have been to Puerto Rico, Cancun Mexico three times, Rome Italy, Sydney Australia, the Big Island of Hawaii, Orlando, Los Angeles, Atlanta and all over the USA on road trips. Prior to this home business, we had only been just across the border of Mexico and to a few other states while in the military. I had no idea of the life we were missing.

sydney-australia-085.jpgI will never forget the view the Blue Mountains just outside of Sydney as the clouds came rolling in and as the sun was just shining on the three sisters and no where else. It is almost magical when in a plane above the clouds and it seams as though the world has turned upside down as the sun in rising above the clouds. The water on the Big Island of Hawaii near Waikaloa is so crystal clear that you can see every fish, plant, or creature 50 ft below on the oceans floor as you just float on top. It is so deceiving that I nearly drowned trying to swim down to touch the bottom. The sunsets in Cancun were beyond this world and the architecture of Rome reminded me how small I am and how great Rome of old was. So many memories from all of these exotic locations!

You know the cool thing though is that we took our business with us. With a laptop and a phone we have made thousands and thousands of dollars while traveling to all of these places. So call them business trips or a vacations, we have had a blast and have made a ton of money doing it! We started on this path not long ago. What are you waiting for?

How do you get hundreds of Home Business leads?

April 12th, 2008

So how do you get hundreds of people contacting you who are in search of a business? The answer is simple…..go on vacation! I’ll tell you what, when we returned from Rome we had over 200 hundred people requesting more information about this very simple income opportunity. We are still getting back to those people. It always seems to work out this way. Every time we take off on vacation or go out to just live our lives, our business thrives!

So, while away in Rome our business was still working for us. The power of the internet is truly amazing. It never sleeps! I have heard of so many network marketers who struggle with lead generation. I can tell you this much….if you have the desire to learn, lead generation is easy. You just have to become a student and dive into it. Instead of getting caught up into waiting for someone to do it for you or to call you up and teach you step by step, start doing it. Type into the search bar, “lead generation,” and see what comes up. Most lead generation techniques are self-taught. I can show you where to go but unless you write that ad and place it somewhere, you will never know if it works or not. Become a student of it and you will master it.

So, I have over 200 eager people to call back and a few hours to do it. I think a good income goal for these 200 leads would be between 30k and 60k. We’ll see what happens….but all I know is all I have to do is call them, provide them with the information to get started here, and then, collect a check. The business is that simple!

Hello from Cancun!

March 9th, 2007

Right now I am sitting on my balcony, in a hammock, overlooking the ocean in beautiful Cancun Mexico. We arrived here on Thursday afternoon and after a 4 hour flight, a trip through customs, and a short ride in a cab, the Moon Palace Resort is nothing short of spectacular. This is our second time here with this business and will not be the last. The moon Palace resort is an all inclusive resort. For all who have never been to a resort such as this, all your food is included in the price of the room. So whether you want to enjoy an outside breakfast over the beach, Japanese, Mexican, or even just a burger, don’t bother bringing your wallet. Just sit and eat all you can.

Today we had the priveledge of hearing from the renouned author of the book “The Law of Attraction” by Michael Losier. What a stud. The information that he has compiled into one easy to read book is so brilliant. It is so simple that it almost seems too easy. He has dedicated years of study and research to this one principle, which is the Law of Attraction. He describes it as “the art of attracting more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.” The thing you put your thought and focus towards, is what you will get, whether positive or negative.

Michael sat with us for a short dinner at the welcome reception. He at times can be very quiet until the subject of what he knows most about and understands, which is the Law of Attraction. The information he presented was inspiring and most useful. I have mentioned this in the past but these 3 basic things sum up what he is trying to convey.

1. Identify your desire

2. Give your desire attention

3. Allow

In order to deliberately attract more of what oyu want in your life, you must learn to give it more focus and energy. The more you realize what you don’t want, you will start to figure out what you do want. So whenever faced with a thought of something you don’t want, ask yourself that question: What do you want? You will find that you will attract more of that thing when you follow this one principle.
