The Absence Of…..

November 16th, 2009

DarknessThis is going to be a topic of common sense that many of you are already aware of. But quite frankly, so many people lack common sense. What seems clear to one might be completely confusing to another.

Many of the terms we use in the English language are simply descriptions for the absence of something or the lack of something. These “terms” are ways to describe things that exist but are not tangible, yet, at times you can see them and feel them and at times these “terms”, if allowed to, can effect your thoughts. Now we all know that thoughts are energy and will eventually turn into action should the thought remain consistently.

Here’s an example: Darkness! It exists. You can see it and one might say that the darkness was so thick you could feel it. I think we would all agree that darkness can definitely effect ones thoughts and actions. I know full grown adults that still will not go out in the dark by themselves to take out the trash. It is something that generates that state if mind that we all know too well, it’s called fear. Darkness restricts movement, vision and ones ability to act normally. So what is darkness? Darkness is simply a term used to describe the absence of light. Light is the measurable factor here. Without it, there is darkness.

Another example: Debt! Debt definitely exists. You can see it in your life and we know that a significant amount of debt can effect ones thoughts and actions. In speaking with people about starting a home business, their main goal is to get out of debt. Debt instills fear in people. Fear of losing their home or not being able to make their bills. If it is bad debt, it restricts people in their ability to live a happy and fulfilled life. But what is debt? Debt is simply the absence of cash flow, or money! With money, debt doesn’t exist.

So here’s my point: A goal to get out of debt is a goal trying to get out of nothing. The real goal is to make money. So set that goal to the amount you desire. Getting out of debt is part of the process. Setting a goal to get out of debt is like saying, “Can you please take away the darkness?” We don’t say that! We just say, “Hey, can you turn on the lights?” The darkness goes away as part of the process.

You can’t take away the darkness without the proper actions and tools. You are required to get your butt up, walk to the switch, flip the switch on and have previously paid your electric bill. It works the same way with debt. Simply wanting to get out of debt won’t work. You’ve got to take the appropriate actions with the correct tools in order to fix your status of being in the “Absense of Money!”

If I can teach you anything, learn this one thing…debt is only the lack of money in your life. So instead of focusing on NOTHING (debt), focus on something. Focus on the things you want AFTER you have created the income that will, along the process, relieve you of the “absence of money.”

7 Things That Are Not Time Freedom?

May 18th, 2009

time_freedomI think there may be a little confusion as to what the term, “Time Freedom,” really is. So many people are seeking it, yet very few really find it. Time Freedom is a concept. It’s a lifestyle and so much more. It’s what allows Fathers to truly be a powerful influence in the lives of their children. It makes it possible for mothers to really and actually be the “Stay at home Mom!” It’s the freedom that allows you to persue your dreams, hobbies and ambitions without restraint. It is probably the most sought after thing in the world.

A lot of people associate Time Freedom with Financial Freedom. Financial Freedom can be obtained while taking all of your free time to obtain it. So many sacrifice their time freedom to get the financial freedom. On the flipside of the coin, a bum has all the time freedom in the world yet, no money! So you can have one without the other.

The big difference is, you can always get more money, but can never really get more time. The clock of life is ticking and when the batteries run out, our time to make a difference in this world is over. The ideal lifestyle is to have them both. Have the money and the time to enjoy it!

Here are a few things that are NOT Time Freedom, just to be clear:

  1. 2 weeks of paid vacation from your employer.
  2. Weekends off from your business or employer.
  3. Only having to work 40 hours a week.
  4. 2 or 3 hours in the evenings to devote to family time and hobbies.
  5. Summers off, as most teachers get.
  6. The ability to take a day off here or there or swap work days for a family event.
  7. Having Sick Days!

Now that there is zero confusion, time freedom is a very simple thing to define, and it means doing whatever you want, whenever you want, however you want, or just not doing it at all, if you don’t want. That’s it! True time freedom is being in complete control of your day. No boss to take orders from, no schedule to rule your day, no job to take you away from your true passions, no business that robs you of your personal life. It’s having complete and absolute control. If you wake up in the morning and feel like taking a drive out of town with your family, you do it. If you feel like not working at all that day, it’s your choice.

Now the trick is to be able to do all that you want to do, while still having the income flowing in. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a simple way to get them both, Time Freedom and Financial Freedom? If I knew the way, or at least one of the many ways, would you be interested to know? And once you found out how I do it, and thousands of others have done it, will you believe that it can happen for you?

That’s the key! Will you believe it can and will happen for you?

Home Based Business or Home Based ATM?

January 13th, 2009

Home Based ATMYou all know what an ATM is right? It’s one of those cool machines that hang out at banks and most stores. Oh, and by the way, they are full of cash and just waiting for you to complete the few simple steps that send money shooting out of the front of it. You can also get however much money you want, spend it, and come back for more if you’d like. It doesn’t judge who gets money or not. As long as you have money in your bank account, you are getting some.

A home based ATM

Now, step aside a minute and think of what it would be like to have an ATM machine in your living room, or your garage, or your office that you could withdraw from at any time. Now, imagine your bank account accumulating money faster than you could withdraw it and then spend it….so money was not an issue. Go down town, go out to eat, take your wife shopping, buy a car, go on vacation and when you get back, your bank account is bigger than when you left! What would that be like?

I can tell you that it is beyond this world! Now I don’t have an actual ATM machine sitting in my living room but I do have a Home Based Business that works the exact same way. It is my home based ATM and I can withdraw from it anytime, take it with me while I am shopping, eating out, on vacation or at the relatives. When I want money, I work a little and it comes. I just do the few simple steps that it requires in order to withdraw the funds. I know, it sounds simple right? Well, it is as simple as withdrawing money from an actual ATM. Just push the right buttons, enter the right numbers, wait a few seconds and BAM, money.

If you can’t seem to relate to what I’m talking about, you deserve to find out. Everyone deserves to find out what it is like to be able to receive cash on demand from their own home based ATM machine! If you don’t believe this can happen, then you are on the wrong website!

What Defines You?

August 18th, 2008

I am not defined by my circumstances, however my circumstances define who I am being! How many people think just the opposite? How many people live in trailer parks thinking of themselves as trailer trash or live on the streets and consider themselves bums? There are very few people who understand the fact that their surroundings, their income, their clothes, their language, their job, and their results in life are not what defines them. That is just telling them who they are being, acting, and thinking as.

Many of the great and successful entrepreneurs of our time knew, even in times of bankruptcy and serious hardships, that they were successful and great! When I first started in Network Marketing I was making about $40k a year working a job. This is a great example of knowing who I was to become instead of who I was being for the previous 10 years of my life. I was speaking with people who were making well into the 6-figure income range and was a little intimidated. I was speaking with CEO’s and big business owners and thought that these people knew more, had more going for them, and were larger and better people than me. At first, that is the mindset I had, and that was who I was being. Do you think anyone wanted to get started with me in my business? Not very many did until I could change the view I had of myself. I had to change my belief of who I was and what defines me. My income surely does not define me nor does a label such as CEO. That is just who I was being at that moment in time.

In order to be successful in any venture and especially in Network Marketing, a person has to have a clear understanding of where they are going, who they want to be, and how to get there. Coming from a person who used to make the national average in income to someone who makes well beyond that now, I had to envision that for myself and become that person before I even had the results. I guess you can call it “Thinking outside the Box!” In other words, having the ability to look beyond your current situation. That, is what defines you!

3 Truths You Should Know About Making Money!

August 12th, 2008

#1. Money is a concept! When I say concept, I mean it is a level of being. A person becomes rich and powerful because that is who they are already, before they get the money. You don’t become rich and powerful after you get the money. You just remain who you are, and if you are poor and low in heart, you will become poor and low in heart once again. Money is something that comes to you freely when you grasp “the concept.” Money isn’t really the paper in your wallet, it is the ability to live life on your terms. It is a force or a tool that is used for great things! As people say, it is what makes the world go round. It is more of an ability rather than a thing. Your ability to have money is directly correlated to your personal being, or your growth. When you grow, your income grows, and I’m referencing physical growth. When you become a millionaire first, in your mind, then will you become a millionaire!

#2. It is a reward for the level of service you render to the public. The greater the value of your service, the greater the amount of money you receive. The greater the value you put on your service, the greater your income is. That is key! People will pay you what they think your service is worth. If you put no value to what you are offering, that is what people will expect to get it for. Why to people pay $1000.00 or more for a pair of shoes in Beverly Hills when you can buy the same shoes at the outlet malls for $59.95? It is the value you put on your product or service that determines what people will pay for it. If you offer a business opportunity, what do you value the opportunity as? What has it done for you?

#3. Money is meant to be in flow, meaning, used. Money is energy. Energy has to go somewhere and be used or it just dies off. You can’t keep a battery charged forever, eventually it loses its power. The same goes for money, it was made to be spent, exchanged, traded, passed on, shared, and moving from one hand to the next, not hoarded. Those who have the highest degree of wealth understand this concept. In order to keep the flow of money coming in their direction, the dam has to be open. There has to be somewhere for the money to go. Money is a river, not a lake. I’m not telling you to be foolish with your money and spend all of it as soon as you get it, but make sure you have a use for it.

Understanding what money is, what it is used for, and how to keep it flowing into your life. This all sounds so simple right? How much money is flowing into your life? Is it always there when you require it to be? Do you understand the true value of your service or opportunity? Are you making the income you feel you deserve? Is money steadily flowing into your life as much as it is flowing out? The sooner you truly understand these three truths, the more abundant your life will become!

Making Money Is Not A Hard Thing To Do!

July 30th, 2008

What is this concept, or this thing that people will kill for, die for, sacrifice their lives for and even sacrifice their loved ones for? It amazes me what people will do for MONEY! Even though they may not realize it, most people really are giving up every ounce of joy in their persuit of money. To most people, making money is a hard thing to do. They have the concept that money is elusive and is never around. When they think of money, harsh and negative feelings arouse. We have all heard of this phrase: Money is the root of all evil, or money doesn’t grow on trees! Most people are raised with these kinds of ideas. What does that do to their ability to make money? It destroys it.

The simple truth about money is that there is plenty of it. More money is being made every single day and it does grow on trees. It is mostly made of paper! If we took all the money in the entire world and divided it up among everybody, we would all be wealthy. There is plenty to go around. So why are so many people broke? That is a whole new topic.

One of the most important things to know about money, is that it’s always in flow. Think of it as a river…and not just a trickling stream but a roaring and raging river that will never run dry. That is the flow of money and all you have to do is step in front of it. There are a million different ways to make a million dollars in this world the key to stepping in front of that river, is in your head.

Think about this, if you have negative thoughts about a person, basically thinking he is the root of all evil, he is never around and everytime you think of him, you have harsh and negative feelings towards him. Answer this question: Would you hang around someone who had those feelings towards you? No you wouldn’t. You would be everywhere else but there. It’s the same for money. It will come to those who appreciate it, who work for it, who use it in flow and who know of it’s potential for goodness and lifestyle. That is the person who attracts true wealth into their wallets! That is the person who money will hang around with.

If there is one thing I would like you to take away from this article regarding money, it would be: You are a money magnet! Everytime you find a quarter on the ground or make a big check, repeat that phrase in your head. You will be amazed at the effect it will have on your bank account!
