I assume everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend. I am enjoying having my daughter home from school today and have enjoyed the company of people that would have normally been at work. Labor day is a good thing for the employed! It gives them something to look forward to. Most people I know plan for Labor Day weekend right after the previous Labor Day weekend. Wow, a 3 day weekend! I have to laugh sometimes to think that I ever settled for that kind of a life. A life where I was told when I could take a day off. Christmas, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July was all that I got. Wow! Good trade for me working the rest of the year right? No!
The other day somebody actually asked me if I had Labor Day weekend off! I just gave them a blank stare for a few seconds and told him about my life. I don’t need a holiday to take the day off. I just go! 2 weeks of paid vacation does not sound enticing to me at all. I get paid while I am on vacation as it is now. Except I have more like 3 or 4 months of paid vacation every year. That seems to be about as much as we do go on vacation, I have burned up enough camcorder batteries to prove it! . And I love it. The only restriction we have now is school for our kids. Really, I work an average of 3 hours a day so really, my whole life seems like a vacation.
I’ll tell you what, you choose your lifestyle. This business opportunity has given me the ability to live the lifestyle I do. If I want to take a drive to San Diego to the beach, spend a week on a houseboat, go to Cancun, or just leave town to go shopping for the week, we do it. The great thing about this business opportunity is that I still make money while living my life and having fun. In fact, I make more money while doing that than I would by still being at my office.
So if you are still empoyed, it’s a bummer that you have to go back to work tomorrow. That is just the thing though….you don’t have to. You just choose to!
