The third decision for success: I am a person of action!

March 28th, 2007

“When I am faced with the choice of doing nothing or doing something, I will always choose to act.” Andy Andrews is the author of this phrase. In his book, “The Travelers Gift,” his third decision for success is to be a person of action. Wealth and abundance hide form the people who are sluggish but follow those who take action and move quickly. There is no such thing as standing still in success. The failure to make a decision is failure act, and thus, failure. There is no gray area in the world of riches and abundance. It is either black or white. Poor or rich. Either you are moving forward or you are not moving at all, which means you are getting further and further behind.

“Successful people make their decisions quickly and change their minds slowly. Failures make their decisions slowly and change their minds quickly.” The key to this quote is to trust in your own intuition. Do you feel confident in your decision making abilities? Most lack confidence and thus will never see their dreams in reality because of that very reason. Success all comes down to one thing, and that is your ability to decide. Decide today to act towards your future. You have the power within you to be great through your decisions. Be confident and be accountable. Fear should not have a place in your mind, as that is all it is, a frame of mind. There is no room for fear in the life of someone who is successful. Fear of choice, fear of criticism, fear of failure is all rubbish. Fear is such a minor thing. Leave it behind.

Become the Leader that others will follow. “Leading is doing. To lead, I must move forward. Many people move out of the way for a person on the run…” Within the true leader, you have the ability to inspire and lead others to greatness. Be the person others will follow, and you will have success. Never settle for mediocraty. Seize the moment. Choose to decide.

I am a person of action!

The second decision for Success: I will seek Wisdom!

March 18th, 2007

In Andy Andrews’ book “The Travelers Gift,” the second decision for success is to seek wisdom. Wisdom can be measured in many different ways. Are wisdom and knowledge the same thing? I think that they both go hand in hand and not one is greater than the other. Both wisdom and knowledge come with time, but wisdom seems to be the application part. It is the experience that helps you grow in wisdom as learning helps you grow in knowledge.

Always seek wisdom. If you desire success, then you must only let the most praiseworthy and worthwhile things enter into your mind. What you think about, you become. What you allow to enter your mind, you think about whether on a concious or subconcious level. Only let into your mind things that will help build you and your self confidence. Read from good books and literature. Have a library of books and read them often. Only seek information that will move you towards your goal and not away. Either you are moving forward or backward, there is no such thing as standing still. If something isn’t helping you, it is hurting you.

Seek out good friends. Who you hang around, you become. Seek to associate with those who lift you and inspire you. Seek wisdom from the wise and become a servant to others. As you assist others to get what they want, in turn you will get what you want. Choose to associate with those who have the lifestyle you desire and admire. The example Andy uses in his book is: “If I associate with chickens, I will learn to scratch at the ground and squabble over crumbs. If I associate with eagles, I will learn to soar great heights. I am an eagle. It is my destiny to fly.”

Be a servant to others. Seek praiseworthy knowledge. Listen to the counsel of wise men. Choose your friends with care. Seek wisdom!

The Law of Attraction and Be-Do-Have!

February 14th, 2007

The Law of attraction and the Be-Do-Have (BHD) principle are as close as you can get to being one and the same concept. The law of attraction, of course, is the art of attracting the things you want in your life by your thoughts and actions. It is a force that is in existence whether believed in or not. What you put your focus and energy to eventually materializes or presents itself with an opportunity. What you think about, happens.

Be the person you want to be, do the things they would do, and have the things that person would have. The most important step is the first. Too many people try to do this principle in reverse. It does not work out that way. I once heard a quote and I will attempt to paraphrase it: I pity the man who became a millionaire but wasn’t one already. A man who is given a dollar, and turns that dollar into profit, is the one who has this process in order.

Thus, in order to be the person you intend to be, it must first begin with you. You must change your thought process to the way you must think to get your desired goal. When you put enough of your focus and energy toward what you want, you will take the actions to get it and then eventually have it.

Are you a victim or a creator?

February 2nd, 2007

Before I became involved in the Personal Development industry I was associated with a very negative industry. For any of you who have been involved in the glass industry, you know it is very tense and not so positive. It seemed like everyone was a victim of something.

I used to drive a van. I used to make a wage. I had a boss that told me what to do every day and when to do it. I wore the same green shirt everyday with my brand on it, which was the name of the company I worked for. I was broke, living paycheck to paycheck, and going no where fast.

Are you a victim or a creator?

I personally know people in business that have failed. Not just in business but in other things in life. Whether it be in business or other areas, they continue to whine and bicker about what happened to them. They are a victim. When I say victim, things just keep happening to them and they can’t figure out why it continues. If you are a victim, instead of taking responsibility for your own results in life, you point the finger outward to find someone or something to blame for your failures. My advice is when something goes wrong, look in a mirror.

You know what, it doesn’t matter what your past is or what level of success you have had. The only thing that matters is what life is all about after the brand you wore. What will life be like for you in the future. Instead of being a victim, become a creator. Today is yours! You own today. You owned yesterday and still do. You own tomorrow and every day after that and what you make of it is up to you. Your Boss has no control over something that you own. So make a decision today to become a creator of your own future and take ownership in that. We all possess this Godlike attribute. It is a divine gift given to be used. Take it and create tomorrow for you and your life will never be the same.

The Law of Attraction!

January 23rd, 2007

The art of attracting more of what you want and less of what you don’t want, is a good way to describe it. To many, it is a force that is unmeasurable, unseen, and beyond the means of scientific proof. It is a law that surrounds every single thought, action, or output of energy. It’s a law that governs all that happens in this world, whether we believe it or not, or even recognize it’s presence. It determines the results you are experiencing at this very moment.

Again I would like to recommend a documentary called “The Secret.” If you haven’t watched it, get it. It will change your perspective on everything you have accomplished up to this point in your life.

Let me give you a background of what this law consists of and how it works. Everything in existence is made up of matter. Matter is made up of smaller particles, atoms. What are atoms? They are basically energy. All matter is energy. If we are energy, what effect do we have on everything that surrounds us and ultimately, all other forms of energy? Newton’s third law of motion states, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” It didn’t specify what type of action, just an action. Is having a thought, an action. I believe so. Thought, in my opinion, is the most powerful source of energy in existence. We all remember the saying, “Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe it can achieve.” Before the action, comes the thought. Without the thought, there is no action. It doesn’t exist!

Thought energy can be measured as either positive or negative. Just as light and darkness cannot coexist, the same is true for positive and negative thought. They repel each other. Thus, you can only put out either positive or negative vibration, not both at the same time. The Law of Attraction responds to the type of energy you feed it. It is said that whatever type of energy you put out, it will return to you with more of the same. The Law of Attraction gives you more of what you put out, thus attracting either positive or negative experiences in your life. It has no favorites and only responds to what you feed it by giving you more of the same. So, whatever you have in your life at this point, you have attracted it through your thoughts and actions. If you concentrate your focus and energy towards a specific goal or possession for a long enough period of time, it will eventually present itself in a physical form, either by opportunity or a manifestation of the exact thing you were focussed on. But, you must be ready and observant, and be willing to take the actions towards obtaining it.

I am in the Personal Development industry and have been for a few years now. The Law of Attraction is not a new thing. It has been used by many great men and women who have accomplished much in their lifetime. It is a law than many understood, possibly ranging back to the early civilizations in time. It is a law that was used to gain power over others in the past. Many of the great rulers of the world may have known it. Today, it can be harnessed and learned, and used to attract more of what you want. I assist others in applying this principle through a business model specifically designed after this concept. It is a combination of Personal Development and Direct Sales. The human mind has more potential than we can even comprehend. Through Personal Development, one can learn to apply this law and have the ability to literally attract prosperity, abundance, and success.

Non-Deliberate vs. Deliberate Attraction!

January 6th, 2007

What results are you attracting into your business or your life? Take a look at yourself and evaluate where you are. Are you having success? Are you flat out broke and negative and the world seems to be against you? Or are you the most positive person around and everything that comes your way just adds to your beautiful and wonderful life? Are you attracting all of this into your world? Do you believe in the Law of Attraction or know anything about it and how it works? Some of this content is taken straight out of the book “The Law of Attraction” by Michael Losier. He defines the Law of Attraction as the science of attracting more of what you want and less of what you don’t.

Let’s start of by defining what non-deliberate attraction is and how it works. You may not know it but what you are doing right now is sending out some type of vibration. It may be positive or it may be negative depending on what your thoughts are and your reactions to what I am writing. For example: What happens every time you open your wallet and don’t see any money in there but just mostly credit cards? Are you sending a vibration and what kind of a vibration is it? Most likely you are sending out a number of vibrations. They are mostly ones that you may not want more of returning to you. Negative vibrations of having no money, being in debt, or the “need” for more money. If you focus on needing more money what are you going to get? More needy! This is an example of non-deliberate attraction and what you get more of whether you mean to attract it or not.

Now the real potential of getting more of what you want falls into mastering the deliberate attraction. Actually attracting what you want into your world and having the ability to control the vibrations you are putting out there and ultimately what is coming back to you. Whether you know what the Law of Attraction is, know that it is happening, or believe in it, it is still there. Every thought or action you take is sending out either negative or positive vibrations that will eventually come back to you in the same form, negative or positive. It is up to you to master what vibrations you are sending. As you do this, you will find that things you want will start pouring into your life like it was destiny and meant to happen.
