Life is Short! Live It, or Get a Job!

Does this resonate with you?

Your Calling Is Calling

It’s time to aim higher, reach farther and dream bigger. To approach tomorrow with confidence and daring. And Monster’s extensive job database is the ideal place to start. Here you can find not just jobs, but the one job that’s perfect for you. So start searching now. And step into a whole new work life.

I just have to laugh at this! By the way, if you haven’t figured it out yet, this is right off of Monster.com. The part that cracks me up the most, is the end…., “step into a whole new work life.” How can this be enticing to anyone? The only reason people get a job is for the money, for the most part. People don’t get jobs because they love working for someone. Very few employees actually love what they do. Most employees are underpaid, stressed out, paycheck to paycheck, and wishing their life was different.

For those of you who have never lived, I am talking to those who have a job, your “calling is” definitely “calling” and it is not the job you have been in for the last several years. It is not a “whole new work life.” It is not a wage for your time unless you truly want it to be. Do you enjoy making a portion of what you are truly worth? Is it fun commuting every day? Do you like being told what to do, when you can take vacation and how much you can make?

If you answered “YES” to any of those questions, enjoy your job because you will probably be doing it for a very long time. For those of you who answered “No,” what are you waiting for? “Step into a whole new life!” Let’s find out what you are truly worth!

How much is your job costing you?

June 18th, 2008

This may seem like an odd question, but have you ever figured out how much it is really costing you to work for someone else? Think about it…There’s the time you commute, gas, stress, the wear and tear on your vehicle, lunches out, work clothes, business suites, child care, traffic tolls, maybe even traffic tickets…You get the picture! It is expensive to have a job in more ways than just mentioned.

Other than just the dollars…what else is it costing you? Your health? Your sanity? Your family? Your Time? There is some more food for thought! How many times have you worked that highly stressful 12 hour day? After a week of that, have you gotten much sleep? Are you stress free? Have you spent any time with your family. Have you done anything productive for yourself? No! Most likely you had very little sleep due to the stress, you got angry at your kids and your wife when you got home for no reason and barely had time to say “hi” to them before they went to sleep. For what? For your boss? You must really love him to sacrifice all that you are!

Do you know the real definition of J.O.B? J.O.B. = Just Over Broke! According to the latest statistics, the average US family income is $31,000. I used to live off of 36k and could barely afford to go to the movies and buy popcorn at the same time. I was renting, I had one car, and was not living a life of luxury. That is scraping by!

I am not in any way down playing a job or employees. We need them as employers and entrepreneurs. There is a very small percentage of individuals that really get to live their dreams. I believe it is less than 3%! How pathetic is that? What category are you in….the 97% or the 3%? How much is your job costing you? It’s really costing you your life!

What Will Your Life Be Like?

March 31st, 2008

What will your life be like if you continue making decisions that same way you are currently making them? What will it be like in 2 years, 10 years, or even 30 years? Will you still be in that secure job of yours, headed towards that 20 or 30 year retirement? Or, will you be laid off? Will you have the financial security that you and your loved ones deserve? Will you be proud of what the last 10, 20 or 30 years have held for you or would you wish to have had more fun, taken more chances, made bigger, wiser decisions?

Never under estimate that power of a simple choice. The choice you make now to read this information is a choice that may or may not effect your life, depending directly to whether or not you decide to act upon this information. If I had not have acted on the information that we received about this unique business opportunity, I would still be doing what I hated. I would be making pennies, working for someone else, and wishing for more. The sad thing is that most people are in that exact same situation, but may not realize that a simple choice and the desire to change, is really all it takes. We decided to change our income and thus our life had increased in joy, abundance, income, friends, knowledge, and every other good thing that I can possibly think of.

So what are you sacrificing for the sake of comfort? Feels good to come home every day from that job or business and see the family for an hour or two just to do it all over again. What do you get from that? Benefits? Money? I’ll tell you what I got from my job. I got no money, no real time for my family, a life of struggle, the cow mentality (always following the herd), a two bedroom apartment, a broken down Dodge Dart, 36k a year and having to wait for a whole year to get a lousy $1 raise, one hour a day with my family…..oh, but I got benefits! I got Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance baby and a 401k! Wow! That makes it all worth it.

My advice, and take this from someone who has been there, the best thing you can do for your families future is to stop going to work. Stop going to that JOB! Make a simple choice to take control of your life and live to the fullest! Here I am sitting in Rome Italy while writing this article. I am living my life! I have no job to get back to and could just stay here and still work this business! Where could you be right now, if you were not at work, and had a choice?

The answer to that is simple……you’d be wherever you want to be. And the funny thing is…there is always a choice!

10 Awesome ways to Fire Your Boss!

September 15th, 2007

There is a point that some people reach in their careers that truly sets them apart from the rest of the herd. This point came for me after I had been an employee for about 10 years. The resounding difference that occurred in me was the fact that I had outgrown my employer. I was done with making someone else rich while I made pennies. I was done being the slave to a job that I despised. I flat out outgrew my employer and everything he had to offer.

So I had a choice! I could either find another job and dedicate the next 10 years to that job, and then do it all over again, or I could become an entrepreneur and live life on my terms. Hmmmmmm…..tough decision right?

The best decision you could make for you and for your future would be to fire your boss and work for yourself. The only difference would be, well, there are a ton of them so I won’t mention them here.

  1. So, number one all time favorite ways of mine to fire your boss is to rip off your shirt, throw it on the ground and say, “I QUIT!” That was the way I did it and I highly recommend it! Very fun. Most effective when you have an undershirt or another shirt to wear.
  2. Walk in to your boss and ask for a raise. You may get into the usual conversation of him asking you why you feel you deserve a raise. Turn the conversation back on him and ask him why he feels he deserves to have you as an employee. Just mess with his head. After his response, which might not be a good one, tell him he is fired and walk out of his office.
  3. Again, go to your boss and ask him for a raise. Again, you may get the usual questions along the lines of why you fell like you deserve to get a raise. He may even ask you how much you think you are worth, or how much he should pay you. Tell him $2,000 a day, and by the way, you now only have a 4 hour work day! In the last 30 days, that is what I have made, except I only work 3 hours a day, Monday – Thursday.
  4. Go up to your boss and tell him that you are going to start working out of your home office and to not plan on seeing you around much anymore. This is more to just see what his reaction will be. Be persistent and serious with him. Then mention that you will be working for yourself and not him.
  5. Come in late one day and say, “Apologize for being late. I had to deposit my $14,000 check at the bank before I came in to quit. PEACE SUCKA!
  6. Just tell your boss that you can really no longer afford to work for him and that he is losing you money. Then give him your business card and walk out.
  7. Tell your boss that your time is too precious to spend away from those you care about. I run a very successful home business. That means I am at home, with my family, working only three hours a day.
  8. Throw yourself a going away party the day you plan on leaving your job. Make sure all your co-workers know about it and let it be a surprise to your boss.
  9. Tell your boss that today is your last day and volunteer to stay the two weeks just to be polite. But then reiterate that today is your last day! He will be a little confused.
  10. Just walk in and say that you have started a successful home business and say, “You’re fired!”

So there you have it. If you have any other sweet ways or ideas of how to fire your boss, post a comment and we will see how many good ones we can come up with. Seriously though, the day I fired my boss was the best day of my working career! Be smart though. Don’t just fire your boss if you aren’t self-employed and part of a business opportunity that is profitable enough to do so. I can definitely help you in that arena! So, fire you boss! Let someone else be the employee.

Success is a journey and not a destination!

November 6th, 2006

Have you ever heard of the expression, “Success is a journey and not a destination.” For some it requires hard work and effort. For others it comes natural. How do you become a Successful Entrepreneur? Is there a business out there that can make the journey a little easier than the traditional way?

My name is David Allred and I am a very successful entrepreneur. I have discovered a way to work from home, as the CEO of my own Enterprise, only 3-4 hours a day, generate a massive income and enjoy a life of prosperity and abundance. I am proud to say that I am a network marketer. I am a wholesale distributor for a personal development company. I was taught this business by other self-made millionaires and in turn am able to teach this business to others. I am a personal mentor for those looking to become successful entrepreneurs and absolutely explode their income without having to sacrifice time or freedom.

This business is Direct Sales. I will teach you how to establish and maintain a successful home business using the same business model that I use. You will be able to experience life on a whole new playing field and will enjoy the benefits of being self-employed. If you have the spirit of a successful entrepreneur then this is a business for you. If you have the desire and ambition it takes to be successful, then you will. One of the steps to success is having a plan. How are you going to reach your goals? I have yet to find a business as lucrative and effortless as this one.

I would like to say that taking that step to becoming an entrepreneur is easy for everyone. It is so much easier to stay in that job or to stay in that comfort zone. That is your alternative. Do you want to work for someone your entire life or would you rather experience a life that you are the creator of. That is what entrepreneurship allows you to do. It allows you to be the author of your own book, the creator of your future. By working a job you will be able to do those things to an extent, but under someones else’s influence and direction. That someone else…would be called a boss.

Personally, the decision is obvious. Do you enjoy working 365 days a year for 2 weeks of vacation? Do you enjoy long work days and commutes? Are you getting paid what you feel you are worth and do you feel you are achieving your true potential? The middle class of America is getting smaller and smaller. Soon there will be the rich and the poor. Be part of the solution and become a successful entrepreneur. It is your responsibilty to become rich and to be an example for others. You deserve it!

Why would anyone choose to have a JOB?

October 18th, 2006

Let me give you a few examples of a life of having a job and a day of a life in this business. First example: my brothers life. And I sure hope that he is okay with me using him as an example. He has told me that he is fet up with where he is at and what he is going through and wants to change. And I believe he will.

Anyway, he works at a corporate job and makes about 50-60k a year and commutes and hour or so everyday to work and an hour back. Living in another town about 3 hrs away are his wife and 3 kids. She took a job there to help with their financial situation. They are hardly together. They are making enough money to have a little extra here and there but are having to sacrifice their time and freedom for it.

Second example: I spoke with a gentleman just the other day that has two very successful businesses and makes just under 200k a year but works 16 hrs a day and is constantly on the road. He has a family as well that he never sees.

Example three: This example is basically a generalization. Every morning I look out my window and see all the people driving to work at the crack of dawn. They are giving 8 or more hrs a day to their employers who probably pay them just enough to pay their bills. That’s how it works and how they can depend on you being there over and over again. They pay you just enough to get by so that you can’t afford to leave. Probably about 90% of America is stuck.

Why would you choose that life. I work a total of 4 hrs at the most a day. I make a few phone calls, place a few ads, and collect the checks FEDEX’ed to my front door. I have been to Cancun, Hawaii, Disney Land and Disney World already this year and will be going to Cancun in the spring and Australia in June. I spend every day doing as I please and am creating a lifestyle that most people dream. Now, I don’t say all this to brag. I say it in a hope that I can wake up a few people from the sleep they are in.
