Yossi Ghinsberg – The Box

October 23rd, 2009

We have all heard of the common phrase “think outside the box!” At times, it is used WAY too much. While in Puerto Rico, Yossi Ghinsberg gave a description of the meaning of this so called, “box,” and how it effects our lives. At this very moment in time, as you read this post, you are using a box. It’s all about leaving the normal grind and getting in touch with nature. Enjoy the video!

The Potato Farmer Runner

September 30th, 2009

Over the past few years this website has been found for people looking for a movie about a potato farmer. The term they are all searching for is “Potato Farmer Movie.” So I decided to look for this movie today. I stumbled across this YouTube video that definitely has a potato farmer in it and was fairly inspiring, so I thought I would do a blog post on it.

The one thing I found to be the most inspiring was the fact that this guy is 61 years old, wins this huge race in Australia, gets a check for $10,000 and gives the entire thing away to his competitors! So first off, age for some is only a mental state. Don’t ever think you are too old to follow your dreams and passions. It’s NEVER too late. I personally know people in their early 50’s that seem to think that this is their year to die. Secondly, he is thinking of others over himself. Everyone completed the race, not just him.

Enjoy the video!

The Road Less Traveled

September 17th, 2009

In my last post I spoke about having the antidote to all the negativity in the media out there. It seems that we are all constantly bombarded with sad, bad or worse news by the media. It’s not healthy to be exposed to that day in and day out. I heard a statistic about children the other day. It said that by the time our kids reach a certain age, and it was a very young age, they will have seen murders, rapes, beatings, war, famine, hunger, and all the things we intend for our children NEVER to experience. And they get it all from the media.

The Road Less Traveled

Well here is the antidote to that. This is the media I have been speaking of. This is the kind of positiveness that inspires. This was produced by the company I work with. This is why I am so passionate about what I do and what I assist others in doing. It’s a documentary featuring a comedian named Michael Jr. who is someone who is making a positive impact in the lives of others. This is a small peek into the type of media my business opportunity offers. It’s inspiring!

I hope you’ll enjoy the video as much as I did!

Roger Bannisters Four Minute Mile

June 26th, 2009

Roger Bannisters four minute mileThroughout the history of the world there have been visionaries that existed, people who have been able to see beyond the knowledge of the rest of the masses. These visionaries have propelled humanity to new heights in science, technology, medicine, sports and every other industry out there. The list would go on and on. These visionaries accomplished things, knew things and discovered things that everyone else thought to be impossible, non-existent or fiction. They moved forward with their vision despite the opposition and belief of others and succeeded. And believe me when I say this, every single icon in history had to overcome intense opposition. Most people thought of their vision as foolish, crazy or risky.

Is this sounding familiar to you?

Roger Bannisters four minute mile

Have you heard of it? Everyone thought it would be medically impossible to break the four minute mile. Medical professionals believed that human lungs would burst if put under that kind of strain. They thought it impossible for a human to run a mile in under four minutes. Well, while the masses sat there in opposition, thinking of the impossible, Roger Bannister completed the impossible. He ran the mile in 3 minutes 59.4 seconds.

In the face of opposition and all doubt by most of the so called “professionals,” Bannister broke the laws of reason. He achieved a task that had been deemed “Unobtainable” by society and he did it against all odds.

This is just one example of a visionary that existed in his prime at that given time. He acted, and mankind from that time forward will remember his choice to act. Sure, he could have been just like everyone else, sitting there thinking about how impossible things were. That would have been easy. Instead, he trained, he worked at it and he was the first of his kind!

So back to my question, is this sounding familiar to you? Have you heard someone tell you that you were crazy, foolish or taking too large of a risk? Have you had people telling you not to do something that you had your heart set on doing? Have you had someone tell you not to start that home based business or that “thing” you wanted to start?

I sure hope so. Because if you haven’t, most likely, you are the one telling others that what they have set out to accomplish is impossible. You have a choice. You can be the one telling the visionary that he is a fool, or you can be the visionary. One way leads you to a life of fulfillment, abundance and joy. The other way, just leaves you right where you are. I can show you the door, but you yourself is the one that has to walk through it.

Inspirational Movie Quotes from “The Matrix”

June 17th, 2009

This is one of my all time favorite movies, The Matrix. It has a lot to do with what I teach people in this blog. I teach self reliance, vision, personal development, higher education and entrepreneurship. I show people the truth. The truth I speak of is that most people are blind. They walk through life without aim, without purpose and wonder why they are always wanting more. They simply go through the motions because that is how it has always been. They fall victim to false beliefs and self-doubt. Most people are, just as in The Matrix, trapped in a prison for their minds. It is a prison they have created for themselves and the only way to escape this prison, is to be shown by someone else who has.

I live in a life without boundaries, without restraint. I made the choice, and was shown how by someone who has already done it. Enjoy the video!

Inspirational Movie Quote from “Surf’s Up”

June 3rd, 2009

The other day I sat down to watch “Surf’s Up” with my kids and wanted to share a few clips of the movie with you that inspired me. Once again, if you really pay attention to the movies you watch, especially the animated movies, you’ll learn a principle or two that will inspire you.

What would happen to your results if everyday you told yourself that you are “The Best?”  I am the best! Say it once or twice right now as you are reading this post. I am the best! Doesn’t it make you feel more powerful already? It does for me. It gives me a little bit of a boost to make things happen.

“…never give up. Find a way ’cause that’s what winners do!” Winners don’t run into a snag, throw their hands up in the air and call it quits. Winners find a way to make it work regardless. Injury, failure, disappointment, criticism and anything else that can come up is just a speed bump on the highway of success. The road never ends and the winner never stops!
