The Dream – A Wake Up Call

June 25th, 2012

Wake Up CallThis morning, my Dad, brother-in-law and I hit the golf course bright and early at 5 am. For those of you who might be thinking 5 am is too early, trust me, in the Arizona summer, you’ll want to get out as early as you can to beat the heat. There’s never to great a sacrifice for a good round of golf, but I’d rather lose sleep than die of the heat. Sleep isn’t so important after playing a round of golf, mid-day in the summer when you know you could have been playing when it was nice and cool.

Anyway, on with my point. Sometimes we can golf and not say a single phrase that has any meaning beyond small talk. Seriously, women simply can’t comprehend this concept. I’m often asked by my wife what our conversations were about for the last three hours of golf….and I can’t honestly tell her. Most of the time, it’s brainless conversation.

June 13th, 2012

Choose a BusinessFor those of you who are true entrepreneurs, you are probably running two or three different business ventures as we speak. If not, then you are working several different income streams under the same business umbrella, which is absolutely the way it should be. Multiple streams of income is always the way to go.

Get Out of Debt Before You Start a Business

May 31st, 2012

Start a Business Debt FreeHaving too much personal debt is one of the most common hurdles stopping individuals from starting their own businesses. It’s also one of the most difficult problems for would-be entrepreneurs to deal with.

Continuing to pay down debts has a huge impact on a new business. It means there’s less start-up capital available to the business, and it creates an undue amount of stress on the owner. Some new business owners who are in debt may have to significantly downgrade their lifestyles to make ends meet. Others may choose to take on part-time jobs, limiting the amount of time they can contribute to business growth.

Negative Ghost Rider, The Pattern is Full!

January 31st, 2012

Top GunIt’s been a while now since I got started in the Network Marketing Industry and it’s been one of the best learning experiences of my life. Many moons ago, my wife and I attended a phone presentation that forever changed the way we viewed our financial potential. When times were dim and stressful with a solution no where near, it’s like the blind folds were finally removed and our eyes were opened for the first time.

I’ll never forget when we experienced our first thousand dollar day. Everything we had hoped for was gaining momentum. From that time onward, we became leaders in the direct sales industry. We had gone farther and earned more in a home based business than anybody we had ever personally known.

I Just Got Fired!

November 7th, 2011

If you have ever been fired from a job, join the club. Change is a good thing, most of the time. There are very few who haven’t been let go, down sized, replaced or fired at least once in their lifetime. Back in my college days I used to work in a small restaurant, and if you know me at all, you know that I love food. Even though I love food, I think I loved it too much and couldn’t help not eating the food instead of serving it. To say the least, I was let go from that job, or fired. Whatever you want to call it. Their reason was, “I didn’t have what it takes to work with food.” That was okay with me and they were probably right. I hated cleaning up after people I didn’t know anyway, especially after a meal. A Guide to Getting Paid What You’re Worth

September 13th, 2011

We’ve all heard the common phrase, “You teach people how to treat you.” If you allow someone to treat you like a piece of trash,  and you don’t correct them, then you have just given them a lesson on how you should be treated. It’s common sense really, but more than just a few won’t ever grasp that concept. Read the rest of this entry »
