Making money while in paradise!

March 13th, 2007

We just returned from our week getaway to lovely Cancun Mexico. This was our second time there and it hasn’t changed too much which is a good thing. There isn’t much that can be done to make that resort any better. It is an all inclusive resort just outside of the main strip of hotels in Cancun. The resort is called The Moon Palace.

While there, we were able to participate in an event hosted by the wholesale company we are affiliated with. If you have ever heard a discussion from Andy Andrews about his book, “The Travelers Gift,” then you know what the word “transformationial” means. The guy, at one point in his life, was homeless and living underneath a dock. He is now a well renouned author and has overcome some pretty steep trials in order to get to where he is today.

The next few entries in this blog will be based on his book. I have yet to find a book that had as much of an impact on me as his did. The principles that he mentions in his book are not new. As he said it, they are principles that were taught to you by your grandpa, but just not all at once and in the same order. They have been around, but just not recognized. Used but underestimated for their potential and effect on the outcome of lives and futures. They are vital to success in any endeavor and powerful when committed to heart.

Enjoy the pictures.

Hello from Cancun!

March 9th, 2007

Right now I am sitting on my balcony, in a hammock, overlooking the ocean in beautiful Cancun Mexico. We arrived here on Thursday afternoon and after a 4 hour flight, a trip through customs, and a short ride in a cab, the Moon Palace Resort is nothing short of spectacular. This is our second time here with this business and will not be the last. The moon Palace resort is an all inclusive resort. For all who have never been to a resort such as this, all your food is included in the price of the room. So whether you want to enjoy an outside breakfast over the beach, Japanese, Mexican, or even just a burger, don’t bother bringing your wallet. Just sit and eat all you can.

Today we had the priveledge of hearing from the renouned author of the book “The Law of Attraction” by Michael Losier. What a stud. The information that he has compiled into one easy to read book is so brilliant. It is so simple that it almost seems too easy. He has dedicated years of study and research to this one principle, which is the Law of Attraction. He describes it as “the art of attracting more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.” The thing you put your thought and focus towards, is what you will get, whether positive or negative.

Michael sat with us for a short dinner at the welcome reception. He at times can be very quiet until the subject of what he knows most about and understands, which is the Law of Attraction. The information he presented was inspiring and most useful. I have mentioned this in the past but these 3 basic things sum up what he is trying to convey.

1. Identify your desire

2. Give your desire attention

3. Allow

In order to deliberately attract more of what oyu want in your life, you must learn to give it more focus and energy. The more you realize what you don’t want, you will start to figure out what you do want. So whenever faced with a thought of something you don’t want, ask yourself that question: What do you want? You will find that you will attract more of that thing when you follow this one principle.

Where do you want to live?

March 7th, 2007

Most people if not all people have some place that would be their ultimate place to live. Maybe it is somewhere in the mountains amongst the pine trees, secluded, big house, and a lot of land? Or maybe your dream location would be near the beach, hot and humid, but paradise? But, the question is: What do you do for a living when you get there? How will you support you and your family?

Most individuals make their living based on the economy in their area. Take for instance the town that I live in. It is a small ski resort community in Pinetop Arizona. The only decent paying jobs might be the big wig positions at the utility companies. The cost of living here is high due to the resort atmosphere, but the availability of good paying jobs is very low. Most people in my community are second home owners. So to live here is very difficult. The other option would be to start a business. Still, you are dependent on the economy of the area. If a fire comes through here, your business goes with it. You know what, congratulations to those who are successful at this type of a lifestyle. You deserve the kudos.

As for me….no thanks. Right now, if I wanted to move to Hawaii, I could just pack up and leave and still be making a great living at what I do. I run a very successful home based business that is completely mobile. I can live at the location of my choosing. I mentioned to my wife that we should consider moving to England for a few years just for the heck of it. Who knows, maybe we will. The real power of leverage comes when you learn to apply the economy to your business at a much larger scale.

Seriously, imagine that. The ability to relocate at the drop of a hat and not even flinch. To pick a place and go and still be 100% in business. It is time to think outside the box. There is more to life than what is right in front of you. It just takes a simple choice.

Millionaires

March 3rd, 2007

I read in a blog somewhere that there are a predicted one million millionaires that will be created between the years of 2006 and 2016. Seriously, when you break it down, that comes out to 100,00 millionaires this year and every year after. The population of the town that I live in is apporximately 100k strong. A town of millioniares is literally created every year. A lot of people are becoming rich and the line is drawn. Either you are one of the those who become rich or you are not. Which would you prefer to be?

I hear people say, “I don’t need to be rich” or “I don’t want to be greedy.” That is fine. Is it possible to have more money than anyone else in your town, in your country or even in the entire world, and not be greedy? Absolutely! Chances are, you will be the same with or without money, just a little more or less free.

Very few people ever experience the type of freedom that most of these new millionaires do. In 2007, this year, will you be one of those 100,000 people who discover their true and utter potential. A potential that can create complete financial freedom for you and those you love. Get involved in something you love doing and do it passionately. A good idea is just a good idea without your passion and committment. Make 2007 your million dollar year.
