I am here to help those who can help themselves. I am not here to carry the world on my shoulders and hold hands with needy people. We all have needs. But what separates the ones that get what they need and the ones that don’t, is will power to do so. I only mentor leaders and in the process of looking for the great ones, I have to sort through the ones that aren’t willing to make decisions or who aren’t ready.

Before I became involved in the Personal Development industry I was associated with a very negative industry. For any of you who have been involved in the glass industry, you know it is very tense and not so positive. It seemed like everyone was a victim of something.

I used to drive a van. I used to make a wage. I had a boss that told me what to do every day and when to do it. I wore the same green shirt everyday with my brand on it, which was the name of the company I worked for. I was broke, living paycheck to paycheck, and going no where fast.

What will life be like for you in the future. Instead of being a victim, become a creator. Today is yours! You own today. You owned yesterday and still do. You own tomorrow and every day after that and what you make of it is up to you. Your Boss has no control over something that you own. So make a decision today to become a creator of your own future and take ownership in that. We all possess this Godlike attribute. It is a divine gift given to be used. Take it and create tomorrow for you and your life will never be the same.

You will need to make a large upfront cash investment (average start-up cost between supplies, location, and so forth – can fall anywhere between $500,000 to $1 million), and in the end, what you are really buying yourself is 80-hour-a-week job. You are going to be stuck in one location all the time, and you will have to be there everyday to oversee the operation. You are not going to increase your time freedom.  With a franchise, you are also going to be required to pay royalty fees for the life of your business. These fees are in addition to all of your operating expenses, and in many cases, they can prevent you from being profitable.

Option 2- Traditional Business:

In almost every case, if you buy yourself a traditional business, you are doing nothing more than buying yourself a job… only with more headaches. You assume all responsibility, and you must be there all the time to make sure that everything is running properly. There are numerous costs associated with operating a traditional business including inventory, rent, and of course, personnel. Administrative tasks take up a tremendous amount of time. The success of your business can be highly dependent on the state of economy, and you are also bound to one location. Long hours trapped in one location do not give you the freedom to spend more time with your family and friends or be able to take vacations, travel, and live a life of comfort and privilege. Costs are also another obstacle to cross. There are so many limitations.  I did this myself, and have first hand experience on this type of opportunity.

Option 3- MLM:

Multi-level marketing is a viable option for many with few start-up obstacles, but the chances are very slim of you actually achieving your goals of changing your financial situation and having time freedom to do the things that you want to do. If you are one of the small percentages of people who actually do make money from MLM, you will still find that the timeframe to achieve results could be 2-4 years or more. In addition, MLM’s carry poor reputations, which make it even harder to succeed.  Stocking inventory, bugging friends and family, meeting quotas, gaining small commissions, worrying about breakouts (individuals who show more success than you, taking your profits), and so many other negatives come with this type of territory.  NO THANKS!
