Making money while in paradise!

March 13th, 2007

We just returned from our week getaway to lovely Cancun Mexico. This was our second time there and it hasn’t changed too much which is a good thing. There isn’t much that can be done to make that resort any better. It is an all inclusive resort just outside of the main strip of hotels in Cancun. The resort is called The Moon Palace.

While there, we were able to participate in an event hosted by the wholesale company we are affiliated with. If you have ever heard a discussion from Andy Andrews about his book, “The Travelers Gift,” then you know what the word “transformationial” means. The guy, at one point in his life, was homeless and living underneath a dock. He is now a well renouned author and has overcome some pretty steep trials in order to get to where he is today.

The next few entries in this blog will be based on his book. I have yet to find a book that had as much of an impact on me as his did. The principles that he mentions in his book are not new. As he said it, they are principles that were taught to you by your grandpa, but just not all at once and in the same order. They have been around, but just not recognized. Used but underestimated for their potential and effect on the outcome of lives and futures. They are vital to success in any endeavor and powerful when committed to heart.

Enjoy the pictures.

Where do you want to live?

March 7th, 2007

Most people if not all people have some place that would be their ultimate place to live. Maybe it is somewhere in the mountains amongst the pine trees, secluded, big house, and a lot of land? Or maybe your dream location would be near the beach, hot and humid, but paradise? But, the question is: What do you do for a living when you get there? How will you support you and your family?

Most individuals make their living based on the economy in their area. Take for instance the town that I live in. It is a small ski resort community in Pinetop Arizona. The only decent paying jobs might be the big wig positions at the utility companies. The cost of living here is high due to the resort atmosphere, but the availability of good paying jobs is very low. Most people in my community are second home owners. So to live here is very difficult. The other option would be to start a business. Still, you are dependent on the economy of the area. If a fire comes through here, your business goes with it. You know what, congratulations to those who are successful at this type of a lifestyle. You deserve the kudos.

As for me….no thanks. Right now, if I wanted to move to Hawaii, I could just pack up and leave and still be making a great living at what I do. I run a very successful home based business that is completely mobile. I can live at the location of my choosing. I mentioned to my wife that we should consider moving to England for a few years just for the heck of it. Who knows, maybe we will. The real power of leverage comes when you learn to apply the economy to your business at a much larger scale.

Seriously, imagine that. The ability to relocate at the drop of a hat and not even flinch. To pick a place and go and still be 100% in business. It is time to think outside the box. There is more to life than what is right in front of you. It just takes a simple choice.

Millionaires

March 3rd, 2007

I read in a blog somewhere that there are a predicted one million millionaires that will be created between the years of 2006 and 2016. Seriously, when you break it down, that comes out to 100,00 millionaires this year and every year after. The population of the town that I live in is apporximately 100k strong. A town of millioniares is literally created every year. A lot of people are becoming rich and the line is drawn. Either you are one of the those who become rich or you are not. Which would you prefer to be?

I hear people say, “I don’t need to be rich” or “I don’t want to be greedy.” That is fine. Is it possible to have more money than anyone else in your town, in your country or even in the entire world, and not be greedy? Absolutely! Chances are, you will be the same with or without money, just a little more or less free.

Very few people ever experience the type of freedom that most of these new millionaires do. In 2007, this year, will you be one of those 100,000 people who discover their true and utter potential. A potential that can create complete financial freedom for you and those you love. Get involved in something you love doing and do it passionately. A good idea is just a good idea without your passion and committment. Make 2007 your million dollar year.

You get the least of what you expect!

February 28th, 2007

When you picture your ideal lifestyle and your ideal income, what do you picture for yourself? Now, as you picture those things, how do you feel about them? If you have any doubt whatsoever as you think of those things manifesting into your life then you are blocking yourself from receiving. That doubt is your proof that you really don’t believe that you will have the lifestyle you desire. The ability to pursue your dreams with complete and utter confidence is going to lead you directly to your goals. Get rid of the doubt.

You’ll get the least of what you expect

When setting a goal, be very specific. Nine times out of ten you will get the least of what you expect. If you set a goal for this week to get three or four sales, then most likely you will get three. It is all in your head. You get the least of what you expect from yourself. You are, in a way, giving yourself a back door. If you are starting a business with the possibility of failure in mind, chances are higher that you will fail, because failure is lesser than succeeding.

When doing anything, only have one goal in mind, free of doubt, and you will get that goal. Do not allow yourself to settle. Settling will get you nothing but failure. Rid your goals of back doors or easy exits. Get out of your own way and allow prosperity. If you are focusing on the obstacle then you may not be able to see the goal.

The Ownership of Money and Property!

February 24th, 2007

Ownership of Money and Property - Albert EinsteinThere is a lot more involved in becoming a success than just finding an opportunity or creating a good idea. Many people have great businesses ideas and still fail at what they are trying to create. One may have a lot of talent in sports, maybe more talent than any other person, and still lose. Why do some win and others watch? What do they do that everyone else doesn’t?

There may be too many factors that play into this scenario to list them all, but I would like to touch on a few.

Number one on the list should be desire. How bad do you want what you seek after. If that one principle is in place then everything else will fall into place along with it. If your desire is strong, constant, and personal then you will do whatever it takes to succeed. You will be willing to sacrifice all for your cause to win. Without a strong will and passionate desire, you have failed before you even get started.

Consistency is the key to success in any endeavor. If you do something long enough, often enough, with full intent, it will eventually work. That is if it doesn’t work right away. How long are you willing to work at something to make your dreams come true. Individuals devote entire lifetimes to this very thing. And they succeed. What is a worthy enough cause for you? What are you willing to devote all your efforts, actions, and thoughts to in order to have what you desire most?

Apply the Law of Attraction into your life. Concentrate on what you desire most and do what is necessary to bring it about. It is The Secret that has been around for hundreds, even thousands of years and is now available to the public as a tool. If you study it and apply it in a BIG way, you will be amazed. I teach this principle through an opportunity that has been founded upon the principles of Attraction.

The Ownership of Money and Property

“The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich.”  – Albert Einstein

The Tomato Story!

February 23rd, 2007

An unemployed man is desperate to support his Family of a wife and three kids.

He applies for a janitor’s job at a large firm and easily passes an aptitude test. The human resources manager tells him, “You will be hired at minimum wage of $5.35 an hour. Let me have your e-mail address so that we can get you in the loop. Our system will automatically e-mail you all the forms and advise you when to start and where to report on your first day.”  Taken back, the man protests that he is poor and has neither a computer nor an e-mail address. To this the manager replies, “You must understand that to a company like ours that means that you virtually do not exist. Without an e-mail address you can hardly expect to be employed by a high-tech firm. Good day.”

Stunned, the man leaves not knowing where to turn and having $10 in his wallet, he walks past a farmers’ market and sees a stand selling 25 lb. crates of beautiful red tomatoes. He buys a crate, carries it to a busy corner and displays the tomatoes. In less than 2 hours he sells all the tomatoes and makes 100% profit. Repeating the process several times more that day, he ends up with almost $100 and arrives home that night with several bags of groceries for his family.

During the night he decides to repeat the tomato business the next day. By the end of the week he is getting up early every day and working into the night. He multiplies his profits quickly.

Early in the second week he acquires a cart to transport several boxes of tomatoes at a time, but before a month is up he sells the cart to buy a broken-down pickup truck.

At the end of a year he owns three old trucks. His two sons have left their neighborhood gangs to help him with the tomato business, his wife is buying the tomatoes, and his daughter is taking night courses at the community college so she can keep books for him.

By the end of the second year he has a dozen very nice used trucks and employs fifteen previously unemployed people, all selling tomatoes. He continues to work hard.

Time passes and at the end of the fifth year he owns a fleet of nice trucks and a warehouse that his wife supervises, plus two tomato farms that the boys manage. The tomato company’s payroll has put hundreds of homeless and jobless people to work. His daughter reports that the business grossed over one million dollars.

Planning for the future, he decides to buy some life insurance.

Consulting with an insurance adviser, he picks an insurance plan to fit his new circumstances. Then the adviser asks him for his e-mail address in order to send the final documents electronically.

When the man replies that he doesn’t have time to mess with a computer and has no e-mail address, the insurance man is stunned,
“What, you don’t have e-mail? No computer? No Internet? Just think where you would be today if you’d had all of that five years ago!”

“Ha!” snorts the man. “If I’d had e-mail five years ago I would be sweeping floors at Microsoft and making $5.35 an hour.”

Which brings us to the moral of the story:

If you had gotten this through email, you would probably be closer to being a janitor than a millionaire.
