Great point! A few weeks ago in church I heard someone say that we were put here on Earth to struggle. OUCH! And everybody heard that. I just pray that they believe differently. We were put here on Earth to experience joy and all the earth has to offer. We were put here to prosper. Trials are just part of it all!

Materialism is a sin, prosperity is not. Your post tells me that to be wealthy is not the only example of prosperity.
