Some may think that a struggling economy has made things nearly impossible for salespeople across the country, but with the ability to now use sales software and liveware right at your fingertips and increase your sales without leaving your home, things have never been easier. There are many different platforms in which you can help build on your craft, and here are a few of the programs that will drive your sales.

Yesware

Yesware was created in 2010 as an e-mail service for salespeople. What it is, is a plug-in for your e-mail that you can use with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Templates are set out depending on the type of e-mail that you are sending (i.e. memo, sales offer, etc.) and will let you know once the e-mail has been opened and the links that have been clicked on.

Since it automatically tracks this data, there is no need to take the long and grueling time of entering it into a spreadsheet as that information will already be available for you. It’s been vital for salespeople over the past couple of years and is a great tool for sales and marketing.

Reports and analytics make Yesware a valuable tool and will give you a monthly view of your e-mail statistics to help improve your profit.

Clearside

Think of Clearside as a cloud of sales information that can play a vital role in the development of your sales force and increase productivity, efficiency and of course the bottom line.

According to their official site: Sales teams start by uploading their sales collateral to ClearSlide, including everything from presentations, PDFs, videos, interactive web pages, and more. Sales can deliver this content through several different methods, including phone calls, emails, and in-person presentations. Sales teams can work together to share effective content and strategies, even with remote offices.

With that type of efficiency, it’s hard to imagine that there are many better ways to maximize potential. One of the hardest parts of sales is making sure timing and strategy are being used effectively and Clearside will make it much easier.

Salesforce

Salesforce will also take a cloud of a lot of different data to provide you with strategies that fit your company. There are different clouds that are provided, including the sales cloud, data cloud and service cloud that all utilize your customer relationship management effectively.

According to Salesforce, their Sales Cloud is designed to Improve sales productivity, boost win rates, grow revenue. With Salesforce Sales Cloud you get all the CRM capabilities you need to connect with customers and close bigger deals faster, anytime, anywhere.

Oncontact

Oncontact provides an exclusive web-only service and according to them, (Our) CRM system is a 100% web-based solution designed to help sales, marketing and customer service departments exceed their expectations in an easy-to-use, productivity driven, customizable environment.

Much like the others, you can try Oncontact for free so try to give these a shot and see which one is providing you with the best service and highest profit. Not every strategy will be the same so they allow you the freedom to shop around. Consider these next time you are trying to drive CRM.

One of the most effective ways to promote yourself or your product online is by using video. But not just any video, HD or High Definition videos. Over the last few years, it’s HD or nothing! Give me HD or give me death, right? Especially when it comes to watching movies. You’ve gotta have that HD TV or it just doesn’t seem worth it.

Every once in a while, I’ll catch myself squinting while watching a show that’s not in HD. I’m trying to clear up the picture but it’s just not working, you know? HD makes everything seem more realistic.

With that said, I have recently had the desire to launch a massive video marketing campaign to promote my opportunity. So, after realizing that the built in camera on my Dell Studio laptop doesn’t record in the required 720p, I order myself an HD webcam off of Ebay. And if you’re wondering, I ordered a Logitech 615c, which is a great camera.

My first video recorded perfectly. No problems at all. However, as I started getting serious, in the middle of recording, my videos started getting choppy. The screen would go blank and the sound wouldn’t match up with the video. So, in troubleshooting, I shut down all running applications and tried recording again. No improvement whatsoever.

Then, I thought maybe there was a virus on my computer, or a conflicting program. So I deleted everything I didn’t need, yet, still no improvement.

Forget about skype chat or using my new HD webcam in a Google Hangout. The video was choppy and again, the sound wasn’t match with my mouth. It was like watching the worst Chinese version of an English speaking movie ever!

After hours of research for possible solutions, I found myself on the Logitech website reading the minimum requirements my computer needs to be able to record HD with this specific camera. They’re tricky!

The basic requirements went something like this:

1GHz Processor

2 GB RAM

Then, below that, it read: In order to record in HD 720p format or greater, minimum requirements are:

2.4 GHz Processor

2 GB RAM

Problem solved. My laptop, after owning it two years, is a dinosaur, and is unable to record videos in HD. It only has a 2.00 GHz processor. Man or man do I wish I would have paid the extra hundred back in the day to get the 2.4 processor.

So, if you’re looking to improve the quality of your videos, be sure to check your computer. You may not even have the minimum requirements to record in HD! However, if you do have an up-to-date computer, HD makes the world of difference.

Looks like I’ll be shopping for a new computer!

Having complete control over your income and your schedule is second to none. And as you can probably tell from the content on my site, I’ve been an entrepreneur for nearly a decade, and although it has been a roller coaster ride, I’ve loved every minute of it.

In my lifetime, I’ve owned and operated several different types of businesses. The first of those businesses was a carpet cleaning gig which I operated while still in high school. The next business venture didn’t happen until 2005, and was a Glass company. We’ve also owned a wedding planning business, an internet marketing/web design company and are currently operating an internet marketing company.

One thing I learned very quickly was that unless your finances and records are organized, life as a business owner can be a pain. And the best way I know to get organized is by using online invoices.

There are many different software programs on the market to assist business owners organize their invoicing and record keeping, and here are a few I can recommend.

Quickbooks – Quickbooks by Intuit is a great way to invoice, manage inventory and keep track of your financial records.

Zoho Invoice - Zoho is a free invoice software which allows you to easily invoice your clients and customers. It’s easy to get excited when something of value comes for free, especially in the beginning stages of your business.

PayPal - PayPal has, within the last few years, created an invoicing system, which allows you to create and send invoices to your clients. So if you use PayPal to process your sales, this is an excellent option.

Many moons have passed by since the day I began my blogging career. Sometimes I wonder how things would have been then if I knew what I know now. If the Empower Network was around then, as Forest Gump says, I would be a “Gazillionaire” by now! Better late then never!

Which is the entire reason for this blog post. I want to tell you how you can build a residual income stream through blogging that will continue to pay you for years to come.

How to build a residual income stream through blogging

As you may already know, I am a blogger on the Empower Network, which is built around a multi-user wordpress platform. Building a residual income stream through blogging is extremely simple to do with the Empower Network, but without it, things can be a bit more complicated.

You see, Empower Network uses a marketing tactic called a “sales funnel.” A sales funnel is simply a series of web pages which are designed to strike interest and sell a product.

So let’s talk a bit more about blogging and how that relates to this sales funnel.

Blogging is writing. It’s sharing everything you are passionate about, interested in or not interested in, online through a blog. With the tools Empower Network has provided, your content will get found through the search engines. So if you are into dogs, and write a blog post about taking care of your pets, someone searching for the same thing will find your content, click on it, and start reading.

I’m sure you have already noticed the ads on the top and sides of this blog. When those readers come to your blog, a blog provided with the Empower Network basic membership, they’ll also notice those ads. And if they’re looking to make some extra money, they’ll probably click on the ads and enter the sales funnel. From that point on, the funnel does its job and sells the product.

Simple. So, by blogging about the things that interest you, you’ll make sales. And these aren’t just one time sales….these are monthly subscriptions, so you’ll get paid month after month, residually.

How much money are we talking about here?

With the Empower Network, people are making as much as six figures per month and as little as $25 per month. So the sky is the limit. The more content you publish to your blog, the more traffic you’ll receive and the more money you’ll make. Not including the traffic you’ll send to your blog through paid marketing and social promotion.

And here’s the best part…..as you refer new members, you’ll also pass a few of those up to your enroller. It’s part of the compensation plan. Which means that those you enroll will also pass up sales to you. So imagine having enrolled twenty or fifty people who are passing up $25 and $100 commissions to you, being deposited into your bank account on a monthly basis.

You’ll make way more money in passive income than you will ever pass up to your enroller.

I’ve only been in EN for a few months now and have already earned thousands of dollars in passive income, passed up to me from those I’ve enrolled.

Building a residual income stream through blogging with the Empower Network is a ton easier than trying to do it the traditional way. Just take my word for it. I’ve been there and done that. It involves hosting, Adsense, sponsored posts, banner advertisements and affiliate marketing. Not to mention learning, on your own, how to promote your content and get it ranked in the search engines.

Like I said, for $25 a month, the Empower Network takes care of all the stuff you don’t want to have to deal with, so that you can just focus on writing content and making money.

So here’s your chance to see exactly how this sales funnel works. Enter your email address below, or above, for a first hand look!

As an internet entrepreneur, it’s good to know a little bit about everything related to your niche. Just as long as it doesn’t detract from your primary business. Believe me, it can and will if you let it.

So for me, I run a home based business, and in doing, I have to be able to promote my business. And since I don’t really enjoy marketing to folks in my local area, B.F.E Arizona, I turn to promoting my business online. So I choose to know a little about SEO, website design, graphic design, email marketing, CPC and other areas of online marketing that pertain to my business. Am I an expert in all of those areas, nope. But I know enough to be dangerous.

One of the areas that I know quite a bit about is how to monetize a website. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of ways to generate revenue from your website. One of the most common is using Google Adsense, and for those of you who don’t know what Adsense is…..it’s a program that places ads on your site and pays you every time someone clicks on those ads. It’s extremely simple to use and since it’s so popular, every Adsense guru online has little tricks and tips to help you increase your Adsense revenue.

Site Speed Influences Google Adsense Revenue

My wife is the creator of a craft blog named GoodIdeasandTips.com. One of the ways she monetizes that site is by using Adsense. She actually does fairly well with it. As her traffic grows, so does her revenue from Adsense. However, recently, her revenue dropped without a significant drop in traffic. And when I say dropped, it dropped nearly 80%. So baffling!

So I went to work and discovered that her site was loading extremely slowly due to a wordpress plugin we had installed. Her site wasn’t compatible with the the WordPress E-Commerce plugin. Once the plugin was deactivated and deleted, her site loaded normally again. And of course, her Adsense revenue started rising instantly.

Lesson learned. If your site doesn’t load, people will never see your ads, much less click on them.

What is a slow loading time?

Great question. What is a slow loading time?

Put yourself in the shoes of those who are viewing your website. How long would you wait for a site to load before you click away? For me, the older I get the more impatient I become. So as of today, I’ll wait maybe eight to ten seconds before I’m moving on, and that’s stretching it a bit. That’s on a good day. Tomorrow I many only be able to tolerate four or five seconds of waiting time. The only exception would be when trying to access my bank account or something similar.

To be on the safe side, if it takes more than five or six seconds for your website to load, that’s too long. You really want it to be around two to four.

How do you know what is causing the problem?

To figure out the cause of your lethargic site, you are going to have to trouble shoot. For a wordpress site, most of the time, the cause is usually something you’ve installed on the site, such as a plugin, social profile button or widget. It can sometimes be an issue with your hosting company. Servers get overloaded time to time. Your site becomes slower the more that has to load externally.

But instead of going through your site with a fine comb, rely on technology to find the issue for you. There is a site out there that has developed software to show you every single thing that loads when someone accesses your site. The site is Pingdom Tools.

Here’s how CreateFinancialWealth.com looks:

A two second load time is right where I want to be. I don’t want my visitors waiting too long to see my content, and neither do you. On average, you have around eight to ten seconds to capture someones attention. If six or seven of those seconds are wasted waiting for your site to load, then you’re shooting yourself in the foot.

So in conclusion, site speed influences Google Adsense revenue. Getting your site to load faster is one less thing in your way to making a fortune online with Adsense.
